The members may have experienced cohesion issues when they first started attending Alcoholics Anonymous meting but during the meeting that I witnessed it was no since of mistrust, or unwillingness to share and everyone seemed very safe in the group. It was even like a running joke that I like you guys so much I enjoy spending time with y’all out of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Alcoholics Anonymous meetings have a general set of rules and norms that members follow. in the openers and the Alcoholics Anonymous manual we went over the rules and regulations and expectations of Alcoholics Anonymous. It was understood that these meetings are anonymous and any one can attended and there is no pressure to continue to come to meetings. The only real rule is the desire to become sober and knowing that it is a process. And respecting each of the member’s journeys. Everyone didn’t travel the same path but all the members ended up on the same road of sobriety with the help of Alcoholics Anonymous.
