Animals are not intelligent like we are so we don't know what is going through their mind does it hurt? does it scare them? we do not know and testing could be hurting them in a way that we don’t know of. By testing animals we can collect data to show that the specific thing they are testing is good for use but then what if it looks good to use but the animal is hurt in a way that can’t be fixed or identified by us and we just sent it out that the drug is good to use. we don’t know if that will happen but for all we know it

When the animals come to a testing laboratory, they are subjected to many things that will horrify you to imagine, but this paper will go into detail about what they endure so you can have a clear view of what happens to these animals. When these animals are taken to the laboratory for testing, they are commonly subjected to force feeding by tubes and needles, are forced to breathe a certain type of gas that can permanently alter them, and even be deprived of food and water for days while these experiments go on. Not only do they have to go through these things everyday, but they also undergo long periods of physical restraint, infliction or burns and other, sometimes serious wounds so that the corporations that are testing on them can examine the healing processes of these animals. Neck-breaking, decapitation, and infliction of pain, to study effects and medicine remedies are also very common. The draize eye test is also commonly used by cosmetic companies to evaluate irritation caused by shampoos, which involves rabbits being incapacitated with their eyelids held open by metal clamps.…

People, especially scientists, are hurting innocent animals that did no harm to anyone. Animal testing shouldn't be allowed to happen because animals are getting hurt, they are not protected, and animals get mistreated. One reason that animal testing shouldn’t be allowed is because animals are getting hurt. For instance, the Draize eye test involves rabbits having their eyelids clipped open for as long as multiple days so that they don’t blink the product being tested away. Popular cosmetic brands like L'oreal, Lancome, Estee Lauder, and S.C. Johnson are used on animals.…

Why Animal Testing Should Be Banned Everyday innocent animals are being forced into labs and tested for human research advancement. Cruelty Free International states how approximately 115 million animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, dogs and monkeys are used in dangerous laboratory experiments every year. In fact, many of the experiments are said to be useless tests, as stated, “The reality is that the majority of animal experiments do not contribute to improving human health, and the value of the role that animal experimentation plays in most medical advances is questionable” (“Animal Testing is Bad Science”). Misconceptions by the media may stretch the idea how animal testing can cure diseases, illnesses etc.. But actually, as emphasized, animal testing is an inefficient way of finding medical advances, making the procedures to be unnecessary and making there be no reason to force animals into labs without a choice, it's blatantly a waste of animals lives.…

After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…
