In the article "Why Do We Need Sleep?,” it explains the importance of getting enough sleep for an every individual. Starting with the importance, the article details how sleep plays a big role in a person's physical health. It states that one of the vital roles of sleep is to helps us sodify and consolidate memories. The article goes on to briefly explain how much sleep do we really need and the consistency of normal habitual sleep. According to this article, adults need 7-9 hours of sleep per night, one-year-olds need roughly 11 to 14 hours, school age children between 9 and 11, and teenagers between 8 and 10. This paper goes into what exactly happens when someone one is sleep deprived. If the sleeping schedule isn’t maintained, a sleep debt is created. It is really important to perpetuate a healthy routine that allows people to meet their sleep needs every night, and keep on top of life's challenges every day.

I will definitely aid the information about how sleep can affect one's brain and other things such as sports, and relationships, which will assist me in further research.
