Why Should The Titanic Be Preserved?

Would you disturb the gravesite of 1,500 people? I believe the Titanic should not be preserved. I think it should not be preserved because it could collapse during the process, cost a huge amount of money, and the ecosystem could be harmed. The Titanic should not be preserved because the ship could collapse during the process. The wood is deteriorating and the iron is rusting. Think about it, the wood and iron has been underwater nearly 105 years! The ship is split completely in half, therefore it is not a complete structure. When the scientists begin to bring everything up, it would stir up the water. They could lose many more things. Second, the Titanic should not be preserved because it would cost a huge amount of money. Scientists will need special equipment to grab ahold of the shp. It would also cost alot tp replace the lost pieces of the ship and to build the museum. …show more content…
The ship is probably home to many sea animals and moving the ship would destroy their home. When moving the ship, the debris could pollute the water. Also, large debris or wood could fall on the animals or on something valuable. In conclusion, I believe the Titanic should not be preserved. The ship could collapse during the process, it would cost a huge amount of money, and the process could harm the ecosystem. This is why I am a strong believer of leaving the Titanic at
