I think schools should have better lunches because the lunches be the same thing every week. They need to change it up sometimes. I think everybody gets tired of the same things every week. Another reason is that they don’t serve enough food for everybody. Some get another meal from everybody else. Then the next grade gets something totally different.

Many of them probably can’t be solved at all, but the topic i chose to focus on are the school lunches. Here are the reasons why I would want to change the school lunches. Composting school lunches should be mandatory because it helps reduce the amount of trash in landfills and that really helps the enviroment. So much students at schools across the nation don't even eat half of their lunches and throw them away. Instead of throwing them away and hurting our enviroment, the uneaten food from school cafeterias should be composted to help reduce the amount of trash in landfills. When we thow trash into the wastes and oceans, we're putting trash in our oceans which is hurting the enviroment, and the animals living around that area. Also, we can try to recycle more actively in our schools.…

Are school meals really benefiting our health or possibly making it worse? What most people may already know by now is that the meals we eat while at school were either thawed or reheated. Which makes some of us question if the school lunches are really helping us out with our health. It just may be making our health worse than what it already is. “More than 30 million children trundle through school cafeteria lines every day in the United States and thanks to the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, which took effect in 2012, they are no longer served greasy pizza, salty French fries and sauced up chicken wings”(Murphy, par 1).…

Some kids eat cold food during lunch in school, while others don’t eat anything. Some say the hot lunch is a waste of plastic as utensils, others say that the hot lunch could be healthier. I think all elementary schools should serve hot lunch every day, it is both necessary and important. Firstly, a hot lunch is good because it IS served hot, while home prep lunch prepared before 8:30 cools down during the 3 hours to lunchtime, and in the summer, cold lunches will be spoiled being hot. For example; a canned soup with a salad, an ice-cream sundae, and a manual can opener, when you arrive at your school the soup becomes cold, the salad is not fresh anymore, the ice-cream sundae melts and you lose your can opener.…
