We americain are always trying to teach our children the qualities that make us as people great, and religion teaches all of these great qualities. A few of these are kindness, compassion, fairness, and accepting everyone's beliefs. If all these great morals are taught in religion, then why is religion not allowed in schools? If religion was allowed at school the morals it teaches would have a positive effect on the students and the staff. Religion should be allowed in schools.
Some people are against religion being in school. They would say religion shouldn’t be allowed in school because it is forcing your beliefs on other people. To them I would say that there would be more than one option that way they can choose their beliefs. Other people would say what if their parents didn’t approve? To them I say that their children need to develop their own beliefs. Their children are going to hear about it one way or another, it might as well be in an environment where all beliefs are accepted. Religion should be allowed in our schools.
Religion should be allowed in schools because it is a big part in our country’s history, we have a right to religious freedom, and it teaches great morals. For most people religion is the most important aspect of their lives. Would you really take that away from them? Take a stand and give religion a bigger role in our schools
