There are many reasons as to why I believe that I should be awarded this scholarship. The most significant reason is because I want to make a difference in this world and hopefully have a vital impact on those around me. I am attending college this fall in hopes of becoming an Immunologist, while specializing in Pediatrics. The reason behind this is that I was born with life threatening allergies and asthma. These two various aspects of who I am played a significant role in my upbringing. It was extremely difficult to do quite a few things because I was always constantly on the verge of a full-blown asthma attack or allergic reaction from some unknown source. I understand how difficult it can be and hope to help young kids, who faced the same
