Constitution made by James Madison, a former U.S. President. The Second Amendment states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” (Madison, 122). The Second Amendment is a part of the U.S. Constitution that could possibly be considered as less stringent when it comes to the laws of gun control. Due to the recent deaths caused by guns and military rifles, gun control laws are now becoming an extremely high topic of debating. Some people think that the gun control laws should become more strict, while others believe that it should stay the same or become even less strict than what the laws are now.
