Abraham Lincoln is a person to remember and admire for many reasons. For example Abe freed the slaves which the south would not like so he had a good chance of people not voting for him again or even get assassinated. Abe was one of the little presidents who was assassinated because people do not like what they did as a president even though what Abe did was right. Abe also created the union to take on the confederacy in fighting for what was write, freeing the slaves. If Abe was not our president back then who knows how things would be today.
