Why School Should Start Later

Would you want to start school later? I would want to start later and so does a lot of people. There are 78% that want to start later and 22% that do not want to start later. Also studies have shown that school should start later. Also right now just 15 percent of high schools start at 8:30 or later, and 40 percent start before 8 a.m.
The first reason why, is people are more stress in the morning trying to get ready and not to be late. People have said that some people don’t get a good breakfast or you don’t eat because you don’t have time to in the morning and you can’t wake up early then u will be tired and then u will go to sleep in school. Also is parents in the morning they there kids to the bus stop and then they get behind the bus and the bus has to stop at a lot of stops and they can’t get around it so that causes the to be late for work. In the morning you need time to review your homework or a test you have that day but you can because you don’t have time to.

When u have sports and u have practices sometimes till 8 o’clock and you come home take a shower and eat diner you don’t have a lot of time to be with you family ,do your homework, and study. Also if u have more sleep you will be healthier and be in a good mood. When you don’t get a lot of sleep you are grumpy I am grumpy when don’t get my sleepy and I don’t want to wake up in the morning to. The National Sleep Foundation poll found that 59 percent of middle scholars and 87 percent of high scholars are getting less than the recommended 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 hours of sleep a
