Why Same Sex Marriage Should Be Legal

In the small country town of Vandalia a same sex couple were about to be married when they find out that they cannot be married because the town outlawed same sex marriage. They then decided to take matters into their own hands, they then decided to challenge the town of Vandalias’ ban on same-sex marriage. Three months later the town ends its ban on same sex marriage and the couple was finally able to be married, but their victory was short lived because a radical christian group then says that same sex marriage should be outlawed as has been for the past ninety-nine years and they intend on keeping it that way because of Proposition forty-eight. Then three years later Proposition forty-eight gets repealed and that couple rejoices finally able to know that their marriage was legally binding. Same sex marriage should be legal because it brings financial gain to individuals , it allows individuals to become good parents, it is a civil right, and it can harm the mental health of gay people.
Same sex marriage should be legal because it can bring financial gain to same sex couples. Same sex couples can gain so many financial benefits from being legally wed like being able to aquire social security checks and if they acquire that then they can be able to pay bills, mortgages, car payments, and groceries off. If same sex couples are denied financial benefits they can lose up to 500,000 dollars a year because they were denied financial benefits. It can
