Academic dishonesty is something that should be avoided. Mainly because plagiarism is something that is not tolerated by an educational institution or legal. Plagiarism is something that is frowned upon because it is stealing ideas from the people who thought and created them. There are several ways to plagiarism is wrong and some include the following; Students need to develop writing skills and learn their own knowledge. This means creating and writing their own work. Copying another students work does not give the student the ability to learn said knowledge and does not allow them to create their own writing style. For example, if a surgeon does not know how to perform a surgery their mistake can result in something to go wrong which can be minor or fatal to that person needing that particular surgery.
