When dealing with the notion that physical attraction doesn’t matter, I would advise my friend that he should explore that subject thoroughly and come to his own opinion. It is proven that infants tend to stare at “attractive faces” more often (Langlois, 2000), which seems to suggest that there is a primal need to choose those who possess a societal beauty because that would seem to indicate they have less deformities and come from healthier genes. Attraction is based on beauty due to the assertion that they are happier and successful which would lead to the best match making (Dion, 1972). When choosing a potential romantic partner he should try to figure out where he sees himself and try and choose a woman that is up to par with his attractiveness
