Why People Should Wear Seatbelts

Many people think that seatbelts are not cool to wear when driving. Vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death among those aged 1-54 in the U.S. More than 2.2 million adult drivers and passengers were treated in emergency departments as the result of being injured in vehicle crashes in 2012. More than 10 billion people all over the world have had a severe injurie in a car crash. People all around the world should wear seatbelts; injuries can be prevented from this. Some people may say, “Wearing seatbelts during a car crash isn’t safe because you can’t get out.” The safety of wearing a seatbelt is going to save a person from getting hurt and there is always a way to you get you out of a vehicle when in a car crash.
