Why People Should Be Banned Case Study

Explain some cases in which you would perm-ban/temp-ban people:
Staff Disrespect
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In my opinion Staff Disrespect is one of the vilest things someone can do on the server. Take their time to come and harass the staff members who keep them safe from other dangers that are brought to the server on a daily basis. When people start to get in the way of a staff members job by doing this they will first be dealt with with a warning. After the offense continues the player will be dealt with by being given a temp-mute which can range from times from 5 - 15 minutes.

Purchase Trolling
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is not a fun thing to do and for which is not tolerated on OPCraft. It is a waste of time and money. It just interferes with the work load of staff members. If someone were to do this they would be IP banned off of the buycraft and will not be given a chance to appeal the ban.

Server Drama

If a mute is given there will be no chance of a appeal to your mute.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Staff Impersonation
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a serious offense and can cause drama so punishment must be given to a player who tries this action. It consist of pretending to be a OPCraft staff member. If a player is caught during this action a mute will not be dealt out and a 15 minute mute will instantly be given out. a manager can give greater punishment for this action after the origianl mute is given to the player

I realized that a tremendous amount of players are not listening to staff, or being very toxic, hacking on the server, etc. I think the problem to this is the new people to this server, the new people are new to the server and are not aware of the rules, reason being they haven't really looked into them, Even though Cheating is bannable on most of the servers, they still might not know. They just want to play the server. Rule breakers/toxic players are not the only problem. The biggest problem, in my point of view are the questions that they have for the rules or server.…

On one particular case, I reached out and asked the Hearing Office Director (HOD), if she was sure that they wanted to suspend an employee for 3 days. When Ms. Bellinger learned of this, she instructed the HOD to disregard everything I said. After this had happened, I told Ms. Bellinger that that was unprofessional; she replied, “I was unprofessional.” This all happened around February of 2016, shortly after I was hired. I showed this to my peers (Donald Hammond, Glenn Fields, Tim Hicks, and Carmen Morales), and I also showed it to another supervisor within ODAR Ms. Janice Hargrave.…

Fighting for Banned Books I went to the banned books workshop were we talked about different topics people usually feel awkward about. When ignorant people feel this way they usually think it is best to ban a book even though these can make people understand the topics and are really relevant to our present society. Maybe some books are to strong but they even took out books about adoption. The conference was given by Gabriel Acevedo and it was a brilliant workshop since it had discussion of actual events.…

Books are challenged and banned for many reasons. One book that has been challenged many times is This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki and Jillian Tamaki. Although it does have some mature themes, it should not be banned due to the fact that many adolescents go through, or have gone through, similar things in their lives and it can help them see that other people understand what they are going through. Also it talks about the taboo topics we don’t talk about in society, or which could be important to their lives.…

Accomplished authors everywhere are weeping as their award winning books get the evil red stamp with six letters ”BANNED”. Recently, several school districts have banned “offensive” or “inappropriate” books, such as To Kill A Mockingbird. Banning Books is the worst act imaginable, equivalent to that of treason. The banning of books is unfit for a classroom setting in which students are taught to be creative and show their imagination.…

Should banning books be allowed, or is banning books doing more harm than good. Banning books takes away good learning opportunities for kids. Banning books also takes away from people being able to learn things and miss out on good books. No one person or group should be able to ban a book because it's scary or has a little bit of bad language in the book. Why banning books is a bad idea.…

The everyday social norm that my friends and I were trying to violate simply had to do with the way that people act in a general retail store. Putting a little twist into just taking things from peoples carts, we instead would be walking by a person with a cart and purposely trip over their cart and dramatically fall to the ground. Also we would run into isles of pretty much anything that couldn’t break open. Generally just making a scene, something that you wouldn’t see on an every day basis. I had a few of my friends do this with me for a couple reasons.…
