A lot of people chose to migrate to the United States for various reasons, such as to live in freedom, to escape poverty, practice their religion, and to have a better life for themselves and their children's. What have driven millions of immigrants to migrate to the U.S. are that they have problems with their economy, they are poorly paid in their country of origin, so they want to find a better place to work. In addition, they migrate because in their country of origin there's a lot of violence and they are in danger by being rob or being killed, so they migrate to find a better life and searching somewhere they don't feel that they are in danger anymore.

Therefore, they move to a the U.S. where they can be safe, where they can have rights and where they won't feel with f at in their daily life. “Nicaragua and El Salvador-violence from government and local gangs forced many people to want to leave”(Harvest of Empire, 2012). This means that people didn't felt safe in their country of origin so they were forced to leave and search a better place to live. This shows that people aren't safe in their country and the only thing they want it's to live in a place where they can feel safe. I believe that people go to live to the U.S because they don't want to live in a place where they put their life on risk by violence, being killed or being rob. All those people migrant to the U.S. because they know that there, they will be safety and there won't be in danger.
