The primary objective of the organisation is service to society and bring about a change in the society and the employees and the volunteers have the common attitude of working towards this objective. Thus YFS is suited to a communal culture.
Also YFS has a strong work culture with an intent to serve and experience the joy of giving. The employees and volunteers are highly passionate and motivated with the desire to be change agents in the field of education, health and environment and their aspirations are aligned with organisation’s purpose and achievement of goals. Thus YFS is suited to a mission culture.

Due to high degree of goal compatibility and transparency, there is less of power and politics. However, conflicts may arise between volunteers because of personality clashes and cluster and zonal interdependencies. All such cases of conflicts are resolved by volunteer manager.
YFS clearly understands that the process of social change is gradual and the results of endeavours undertaken will sprout in due course of time. This doesn't deter them or quench the fire of commitment within them. They look forward to tackling societal issues and transforming lives. The framework within which YFS seeks to go about its activities in the future are as follows:
Strengthening volunteer enrichment programs and investing in them.
Initiate and support chapters in smaller towns of Karnataka.
Strengthen partnership engagement by proactively identifying more NGOs in various sectors and identifying meaningful volunteering opportunities.
Identify the evolving problems in society and come up with constructive solutions and implementing them effectively.
