Why Obtain A College Degree

Obtaining a college degree is important for my future academically and personally. Without a college degree I am not able to achieve my academic and life goal of becoming a Veterinarian. To be a Veterinarian, I need to have a Bachelor’s Degree and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Also I have to take two big test: the Graduate Record Examination, to get into vet school, and a 7 and a half hour 360 question long licensing test. Without a college degree, I would not be prepared for those test at all. Also without a college degree, you are unable to get a higher skill level job, which lowers your chances of being able to make an adequate amount of money to be able to live comfortably. However, that is not the only reason I feel a college degree
