For me, I obey the law because it is the right thing to do. There are three motivations to comply with the law of society, freedom, money, and family. Freedom is on the top of that list. In the Webster dictionary it states being free not in confinement or under physical restraint. (Webster 2009) The thought of being jailed for anything is terrifying to me being caged in an 8X8 cell is not for me. For example, I will abide by the speed limit on the streets and highway. There are laws for motorist so the roads will be safe for travel. I must obtain a driver license to operate a vehicle. The driver must have insurance on the automobile, just in case of an accident.
