Why Not To Wear Seatbelts

Everybody in this class have made their own choices today. It could have been something basic like what color shirt your should wear, or something major like putting on your seat belt on the way to school. The rate of deaths, related to car accidents, have been on a rise, and most of the deaths are caused by not wearing their seatbelt. I believe that all of these choices have an impact on our everyday lives. I hope that after this speech today, you all make the bigger choice of wearing your seat belts in your day-to-day traveling.
Wearing a seatbelt is a must while driving, or riding, in a vehicle. The chances of surviving in any carcrash goes down by 50% if you do not wear a seat belt. That's a 50/50 chance of losing your life, just over your choice of not wearing your seatbelt. You don’t want to wait until after being in a accident to wear your seatbelt because it may be too late after the fact because you might not live through it, or you can have serious injury to your body to the point where you can't drive any more.
