Why Newton Is A Perfect Place

Decent Essays
Newton is a nice small town right in the middle of America's heartland. It is just the right size and has many restaurants including Druber's Donuts and Beck's Burgers. Two of my favorites. You should really move to Newton.

Some people say that Newton is too noisy with its trains and what not, but once you have lived in this town for a few days, you get use to it. There are also many athletic things to do in Newton such as participating in an event in the recreation center, walking down the plentiful amount of bike paths, or even swimming in the Summer. Newton is a perfect place to exercise and get fit.

Another good thing about this town would have to be the people. If you talk to someone you have never seen or spoken to in your life in

I live in Alpena, Michigan; it’s a pretty small town. There are plenty of things we could do to make it a better community. For example, if our community would engage in more volunteer work, like helping the Alpena Huron Human Society and cleaning up the streets, Alpena’s appearance and reputation would would be affected in a positive way. To give Alpena a more friendly approach to tourist and people living here we could participate in volunteer work. Improving Alpena Everyone loves that feeling of warmth and welcome when they come into a town that is filled with lively people. We never really think about how these towns managed to become as friendly as they are but we seem to always want our town to be like those that we love. There are lots of things involved in making small tows warm and welcoming, and some of which are harder to work around than others. Considering Alpena, we have lots of closed doors, and most of businesses are out of walking distance from each other. The weather up here is also very unpredictable ad abnormal but one thing we need to increase that will allow us to become a more lively and eccentric town, is our number of small businesses, we need a bigger supply of small businesses that are in walking distance from each other.…

But only recently did I realized the discontent many had for my town, this became evident throughout my high school experience as fellow peers of mine, began to openly expressed how they couldn't wait to escape. And as we talk of colleges, it seems they are not only planning to escape Winston, but all of North Carolina, due to their negative association. This is why the reputation of boring Winston is the most important concept that needs to change to me, because I know it is not an accurate portrayal of my city.…
