Why Lying Is Important

All of us have faced challenges within our years of adulthood and childhood that we struggled with. These struggles change who we are or how we later approached the rest of our lives. I believe that challenges are good because they allow us to learn from our mistakes, become comfortable with change, and grow into well-rounded individuals. Personally, I value honesty on the emotional level, such as the tendency to build strong relationships with others close to me. Throughout many years of my life, I believed those values, but never was able to follow those beliefs. I felt I had to lie even though there was no reason to. It seemed clear that any type of lying can never be justified, but yet there remained shades of gray on debating when and how much of the facts can be justified. …show more content…
Though it was a rough day not realizing that talking to her about my struggles that happened would help my emotional strains. Throughout high school all those years can make anyone realize how much they can change as an individual and overcome obstacles to finally reach success and fulfill personal goals. In my personal experience, struggling through my self-confidence and trying to overcome procrastination with my school work inhibited me from finding out how much potential I truly have. Having the issue because of lying and not going working at my personal experiences and searching for help really held me back from being able to do in life. Not talking to my mom and brushing off any issues I had made it that much harder to get over those
