I believe that a proper retirement plan must be started as soon as possible. I do not currently have a retirement account, but at the current age of 30, I know how important it is to get one started as soon as possible. My father is almost 68 and cannot think about retiring because he never established a retirement plan. I want to be able to live with my husband in a house that we have paid off and be driving cars that are paid off. This position is a state employee position, which will allow me to receive the state retirement benefits. If I remain employed with the state for an average of 28 years, and my average final compensation is roughly $60,000, I will be eligible for $2,293 a month in retirement benefits (North Carolina Department of State Treasurer 2017). Although this is just an example, I would feel secure with that amount along with my husband’s pension. This position would allow me to establish a secure future.
Two Skills or Abilities or Personal Traits That I Have In the prior section I presented two life values that are of importance to me. In this new section I will identify two personal traits that I have, and I will assess whether these skills fit a career as a senior case analyst. The two personal traits that I have are being high achieving and I am conscientious. For me, being high achieving means that I desire complete success in life. In school I have strive to excel in my classes. I have an intense desire to fully understand what I am doing, why I am doing it, and how I can become better. I have proven this throughout my academic career by maintaining a 3.7 or higher
