Friday, November 22nd, 1963 began just like any other day in the United States, except this day would change the history of the US for decades ahead. Our 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, woke up that day with a few basic goals planned on his visit to Texas, including to raise more democratic party fund contributions, mend political fences of the Texas Democratic Party fighting amongst themselves, and begin his journey into re-election of 1964. Kennedy began his day with these three goals wedged deep in his skull not knowing that a 6.5 Carcano round was the goal of another destined to the same place. President John F. This enormous accusation was due to the fact that Johnson did not really like the Kennedys and feared that he would lose his democratic ticket for the election of 1964. Along with this, other Americans gained suspicion that the Soviets could have been responsible. Although there is no evidence that the KGB was involved, some theorists believe Nikita Khrushchev was motivated because of having to back down during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Speaking of Cubans, they also had a part in another conspiracy brought up by The House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA). After the 1959 Cuban Revolution brought Fidel Castro to power, thousands of Cubans migrated to the US with hopes to overthrow Castro and return to their homeland. When the Bay of Pigs Invasion of 1961 failed, Cubans were incapable of returning to Cuba and President Kennedy was to blame. The HSCA found that Cuban Exiles may have had something to do with Kennedys murder because of this. Another conspiracy that evolved over the years discusses how the Mafia may have been involved as well. In this theory, Mafia Boss Carlos Marcello hired hitmen to assassinate John F. Kennedy because him and his brother, Robert F. Kennedy, were too tough on the mob and their crimes. In 1985 Marcello admitted to the murder by telling his inmate that he had him assassinated and claimed that he wished he could have done it himself. The conspiracies of the JFK assassination that have been discussed are only a few out of the dozens that have already been made and maybe even still pending. Some may be a bit more believable than others but in the long run, they sound just as similar as the Lee Harvey Oswald
