In some instances kids join gangs or get influenced by their parents bad behaviors. In the movie Juvenile Justice, a kid name Manny gets involved with a gang at a very young age. He assaulted a family and sent to jail to get rehabilitated. Sadly he didn 't get the right help and landed in jail again. The influence that gangs have on kids is strong, they give them family that they need. The gang 's show them care and safety that their parents can’t give, which leads to the juveniles make bad decisions and when getting caught leads them to life sentences. Since being involved in these types of groups can lead them to harm others and get a hire sentence because the kids knew the people in the gang. Half the time juveniles aren’t even doing the crime but they know the gang or involved with them, which gives them long sentences. Parents have such a strong influence on their kids that it could lead the kid down the wrong road. In the movie a mother teachers her son, Masque to steal from people, this boy loves her mother and in the end he go 's to jail and won 't change unless she does. Since parents are such an important factor to a child 's life, the kids get infused with their bad behavior and end up going to jail forever. Most of the time we weren’t and that is because our brains aren’t fully developed since this is the case kids shouldn 't be receiving life sentences. There are studies that have proven that people under the age of twenty-five have not fully developed their brain. In the documentary about older adults in jail, there was one man who was very angry though his teens and early twenties. But one day he says it was almost like a switch came on and he didn’t know why he was so angry. He just turned twenty-five. Kids should not serve life sentence since are whole life we go off our impulses. That is why we get into some many fights and make dumb mistakes we aren’t thinking correctly because we have something missing from us. So many kids have been sentenced to life thinking they were helping themselves but are only hurting themselves in the end. The kids want something to stop or get out of a bad situation but only end up in jail for the rest of their life. Kids are thinking but that missing part doesn’t help clarify what we did we just act out because that is the only thing that we can do. In so many instances people say that we know right from wrong but in some cases this right and wrong things goes out the door to protect us from the crucially of others. Think as if kids are time bomb, we the kids are still learning what pushes our buttons and learning about ourselves. It doesn’t help that
