Why Kids Should Not Have Phones In Class

Improved Essays
“A person named Cheryl Cirelli agrees with me about having no phone in class.” When a child is in school the purpose of it is to learn. Almost every kid in new mexico has a phone. Most of all the kids are not mature enough to use phones in class without playing games or social media. Students should not have phones out because they might cheat and get distracted.
My opinion of having phones in class is that they shouldn’t have phones in class because they would not do their work. So on of the reasons is that some kids would actually do work, but the others would goof off and go on social media. Maybe the other kids that have good grades will use a calculator.. Others will play games on there phones and text there friends. Kids with bad grades

I believe that students should be allowed to have a cellphone fat certain times of the day for their own personal use. I feel if kids had their phones with them at school it could help them stay safe in multiple situations and could help them communicate with their family if they don't have an other methods to do so. In certain situations having a phone nearby for your use could be quite useful, in situations like lockdowns and such because of a hurricane, earthquake, etc. you could use the phone to communicate with your parents and inform them about what happened and tell them that you're okay and you could also use it to call for help in case of an emergency.…

Most students do not think there is anything wrong with using their cell phones while taking a test during class or sharing information with their classmates (Miners). Some students will do anything to make sure they get good grades in school in order to compete with their friends. Another reason why cell phones should not be allowed at school is because it allows students to use the phone inappropriately. Should Student be allowed to bring phones to school! I agree that students should be allowed to bring cell phones as long as they don't disrupt class or distract themselves and not pay attention due to the phone, if that happens the teachers can just confiscate it and tell that particular student that he/she may not be able to bring a cell phone to school. I think students should have the right of bringing a cell phone to school because it is theirs. They have responsibility, if they don’t cause trouble with it, I think they should be allowed because also it is really convenient for emergencies and also the school phones might be out or they might not have access to one so I think bringing a cell phone is handy also you could use it to help…
