9 Reasons To Start Juicing

You've probably heard about the five-a-day rule where in order to keep your body healthy, you have to consume at least five servings of fruits and vegetables per day. Even though we love our fruits and veggies, we realize people often have troubles consuming them in recommendable quantities. It is shame our society gets sick from preventable diseases and resorts to prescription drugs when nature offered so many solutions to prevent any possible ailment.

Regardless of juicing becoming more popular in the last couple of years and many studies have been done to prove its benefits, people are still hesitant. We decided to make a list with several important reasons to start this healthy practice.

This is where juicing comes in handy. Blend several pieces together and you are set for the day.

3. More Energy
Think how tired and sluggish you feel after eating a heavily processed meal. It happens because your body needs all energy to digest the heavy and toxic food you just stuffed down your throat. We should be eating to replenish energy, not spend it. Juicing helps to remove these toxins. Green juices give the instantaneous energy boost.

4. Weight Loss
Much of weight gains happen due to processed food people consume on regular basis. When you feed you body with necessary nutrients, you won't need junk food. Your body simply stops craving it because it is properly fed. Eating foods rich in nutrients helps to stay full longer.

5. Cancer Prevention
Fruits and veggies together form a cancer-battling army out of antioxidants. They are essentially antioxidant warehouses, and numerous studies have proven they're able to prevent free radicals damage the healthy cells and thus eliminate cancerous growths. The body produces these antioxidants, but not enough to keep DNA intact, so the rest is on us and our diets.
