Why Join Senate

Decent Essays
I decided to join Senate at the end of my sophomore year. One of my dearest friends encouraged me to run and although I didn’t think I was going to make it, I still went with her crazy idea. I am so thankful to you Anna because you invited me to be a part of this beautiful family.

Little by little, everyone opened up to me and without noticing, everyone in senate became my friend.

At first it was Anna, who always invited me for lunch. And after a couples of months someone who I found myself sharing my secrets and my dreams with.

Secondly it was Emily, who opened her house to me and spoke to me in spanish as much as she could.

And then it was it Nate, with whom I shared my favorite memes with and he also spoke to me in spanish.

When the founding fathers first established the U.S. Congress, congress was considered an unpopular job. Congress members had to travel far, be in sessions that were long and hot and there was not much to do in national government. Nonetheless, Congress has become a strong and stable institution through careerism and organization of committees. However, party leadership power is dependent on how much the constituent knows and feels about government and if there is a divided government Congress has many layers to make it an institution, which establish the way congress operates. One of the reasons is because being a congress member is now considered a highly favored and highly praised career.…

A People’s Politician Very few Americans will proudly say that they have had the dream of serving the American people in our nation’s government. For me, unlike anyone else, politics is not just my goal, but my dream. I have always lived my life knowing that no matter what the circumstance, someone doesn’t have all that they are entitled to in life. With that in mind, it drives me everyday to one day become a Politician who will become an advocate for the American people, a voice for freedom, and a philanthropist for humanity. Becoming an advocate for the millions of Americans in the lower classes of society who have felt the pain of poverty, the reality of racism, and the concern over their constitutional rights being stripped away amendment by amendment, would come with no easy responsibility.…
