Why Johnny Can T Write Analysis

In this article “Why Johnny can’t write, and why employers are mad,” I learned that for able to get a well job you have to be able to write and communicate effectively so that people from outside of your company can understand what you are trying to tell them. Also, so that they won’t get pissed or leave your company for a lack of writing and communication with them. You could also, lose money because you don’t have enough people to help your business grow because of your lack of communication and writing skills. For example; in the article” Why Johnny can’t write, and why employers are mad” states that “You can be the smartest person here, but if you can’t convince the portfolio managers to buy what you’re selling, you won’t be successful.”- T. Rowe Price. Also from reading this article, I have learned that most employers hire employees that have an extremely good communication, and writing skills, especially if you are going into business. These two reasons of why I think it will help me improve my writing skills for my career is because the more I read and pay attention to the reading comprehension, then I could expand my vocabulary to use in my writing and as well as, how the transition words are used to flow the paper, and some sentence structure. Also, reading helps you to understand how to author writes and how the author uses words differently that aren’t on our everyday vocabulary. Reading, can also give you imperative information on the topic that you might encounter in the future to write about or for any assignments that you are assigned
