The very first case of Ebola was named Zaire ebolavirus because of the country it came from called Zaire, now known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo(Outbreaks Chronology: Ebola Virus Disease). It was previously known as the Ebola hemorrhagic fever. There are five different species of the Ebola, Ebola Virus, Sudan virus, Tai Forest virus, Bundibugyo virus and Reston virus. Researchers believe that the virus is animal-borne and the most likely animal to start the virus was bats, though it is still not known for sure. Symptoms of Ebola are Fever, Severe headache, Muscle pain, Weakness, Fatigue, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain and Unexplained hemorrhage (CDC). Symptoms of Ebola can occur from 2 days up to 21. But average numbers of days are 8 to 10. Ebola is spread by coming in contact with other peoples body fluids. There is a possibility to get Ebola when coming in contact with any wildlife or nature that has been infected with Ebola, such as wild animals.
