As seen in the story Of Mice and Men. Candy works on a farm and wants to have a place to go after he is let go, so he asks George if he can live with him after he gets his own land. Candy’s dream helped him feel more at ease because it allowed him a place to live rather than be homeless after he no longer worked on the farm. This can also be proved by the story of Batkid. A boy named Miles has cancer and it is his dream to be Batman. So a company made his town into Gotham for a day and people came from out of the city to see as Miles went around town as Batkid. It is true that for everyone who accomplishes his/her dream, there is someone who does not. When that happens it's disappointing and frustrating; but it may not be as bad as originally expected. Anita and her dream job is a good example of this. Anita pursued her dream job and loved it, for the first few years. She slowly came to hate her job. However much Anita hated her job and may have thought it was a waste of time, it wasn't. If she had not gone after her job she never would have known she would come to hate it.
