All my life, I never truly appreciated reading, writing of what is was, for I’ve always hated reading and writing. I could never see as of why it’s so important to read or write by virtue of me believing either it’s boring or a huge waste of time. My parents and teachers would always encourage me, but I could never really get into it. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been a good reader and writer; I just didn’t like to do it. For an example, back in second grade I was reading at a fifth grade level. I’ve always been smarter than most students, but when it comes to reading I end up missing.
