When I think of good writing I often think of reading and, then picturing it in my head. For example, if I’m reading something I need description and lots of images going through my mind. It really helps me understand what I’m reading, making it more entertaining. Another thing I often enjoy in writing is when there is some humor throughout the paper, because who doesn’t love a good laugh? I always know when I have written well when I enjoy what I’m reading.
I am taking this class not only because I have to, but I do really enjoy writing. In that case I procrastinate, and wait till the last possible minute to work on my paper of finish it. This is not because I do like writing, I love it, it's just hard to get the writing assignment how I want it. Procrastinating would by far be my biggest weakness. For example, it’s Monday night and here I am writing my paper that you gave to us on Friday. That may sound bad, but I’m being truthful. It’s so hard for me to concept the whole paper, and get it laid out how I want it. Another weakness I would say for me would be putting commas in the right position, because let's face it half the commas in this paper are probably wrong. It’s a learning process, am I right? Another weakness that I tend to have is using the right for of the word when they have different meanings. That weakness really gets me irritated, because I get so flustered when I don't get it right! To help with my weaknesses I often have my friends read through my papers, and have them give me tips. I feel this works the best, because it’s face to face. My biggest strength would have to be I enjoy writing. I feel this is a great thing to have, for example I can write about anything, and enjoy it. I just love the feeling of getting all of my emotions down, and out in the open.
