Why Is Winston Churchill A Hero

Winston Churchill was the 'clutch man' of WWII; I believe he is the reason for the victory with the Allies over the Nazis. He showed integrity to allow Joseph Stalin and the Soviet Union, to join their cause. His humble upbringing helps because he was a great speaker, a great politician, and had a heart of valor. His Life Story is the reason he is a hero. This is why we think of him so highly today.
Early Life
Winston Churchill was born November 30, 1874 to aristocratic family where they didn't give much if any attention to him. His father, Lord Randolph Churchill has family ties to John Churchill, who was a war hero in the wars against France. Instead of going to the infantry, he went to the Calvary because he didn't have to study mathematics. He graduated 8th out of 150 and became a second lieutenant also known as a cornet.
In the military, Churchill travel to Cuba to observe the war between Cuba and Spain. He was getting paid a commission for a newspaper to document his observations. He described Cuba as “A large, rich beautiful island”. He grew quite fond of Havana Cigars, so he was bound to be a smoker the rest of his life.
Churchill also traveled to India, which was back then a British territory. He was consider one of the best polo players and led his team to numerous prestigious victories.
Churchill traveled to Egypt, to fight in WWI. He visited Luxor then joined the last meaningful Calvary charge in the Battle of Oldham. He was a war correspondent for the Morning Post. Soon as he came back to Britain he started his two volume book ‘The River War. ' He also ran for Parliament and lost but, impressed everyone with is campaigning
