Short Essay #1 A character in the play that had a turning point in the play was Walter because of how he had agreed to go forth with the moving of his family into the new house. Walter had many other turning points in the book such as when his money was stolen and which made him realize that he should not trust other people with his money. When he realize that he would have to start supporting his family more than he did before, he started to have a big turning point which could be considered a point when he had no choice of going back.
