Why Is Voting Important

When there is a need for change in the world it is our duty to fight for change by voting. Voting help us choose a person we want to lead or represent us in government. By voting we express our opinion formally are officially about issues that affect us. Voting is our way for our voices to be heard, to hold elected officials accountable for their actions, and to have a say on important issues that affect us, the community, in the world. For these reasons voting is very important. For one, voting is important because it's how are voices are heard. Voting is our way to speak out about issues that we feel needs to be acknowledged. Like issues on same-sex marriage or banning smoking in public places. By voting we get to say who we want to represent
