Overtime, people have come to agree that there is no single cause for poverty. All families that have incomes which fall below the dollar amount given, indicates that each member of that family are considered to be in poverty. Poverty is a very complex concept. Poverty is becoming a ripple effect. With poverty expanding governmet aid and crime rates are also increasing. One's lack of education contributes to poverty. Without education individuals will recieve less pay although, that individual may be qualified for the position. These low paying positions consist of part-time work with minimum hours. Often times the individuals who take these positions are the head of their househole.
