After reading a banned book, I think that it should be banned. “The Great Gatsby” is what I read for this project. I enjoyed this book and I cannot wait till I see the movie. “The Great Gatsby” was published in 1925 by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I am not big on classic books but I really enjoyed this classic. I do agree that this book should be banned, but not from everyone. This book should be banned for children under the age of 13. I am going to tell you, with the sources I have used, why this book was banned. The sources I have used is some websites and my own copy of “The Great Gatsby.” According to my research, my book was banned because of profanity, sexuality, and the use of alcohol. Profanity is the main reason why the book was banned.
