Why is the Executive branch so important? Some people tend to believe that there is no reason for the Executive branch to exist. The Executive branch is in fact very important to the citizens of the United States. It holds many responsibilities such as the President being the Commander in Chief, making treaties, lastly, he is responsible for implementing and enforcing laws written by Congress. Citizens also want to know just how important the branch is, and how if we did not have it, people would riot.
