Yesterday, September 17,1787, our states met to form the new constitution at the Constitutional Convention. The constitution is suppost to be strong but not too strong, nor too weak. Which is off to the states for radifacation. The reason for meeting was to revise the Articles of Confederation, our old consititution. The Articles of Confederation was too weak. They knew that we needed a stronger constitution but not to be too strong, like Britian`s government. The constitution has to protect our rights as Americans. Well the convention began on May 25,1787, so about four months ago. It was held in Philadephia, Pennsylavania at the Pennsylavania State House.
