Texting and driving should be illegal in every state since it is very dangerous not only to the person driving the vehicle, but to the other people on the road. It increases the risk of the crash even if you are using the phone hands-free, and the risk increases by 4% when drivers are texting and driving at the same time. Texting is also more dangerous than anything you can do in your vehicle while driving, and that includes eating and drinking. Texting while driving is illegal in some states, but not in every state, but it should to keep everyone safe on the road.

Of all the things you can do in your car, for example eating or drinking, texting and driving is the most dangerous since it can get you into a wreck and it can kill you. In a recent study, texting and driving is most similar to being drunk while driving, most people that were drunk did better than the people who were texting and driving. According to the research, “Whether it is using a cellphone, eating or drinking, or adjusting the radio, it seems that driving is not always the top priority in the car.”
Texting and driving needs to be illegal, it is not only dangerous to the people texting and driving, it is also dangerous to all the people that is driving around the distracted driver. It increases the risk of crashing even when you are using the phone hands-free and it increases the risk by 4% when drivers want to text and drive at the same time. Texting is also more dangerous than anything you can do while you’re in a vehicle.
