Cholesterol and steroids are lipids that are very important for your health.First off a steroid is a lipid because it is insoluble in water and are also hydrophobic.Cholesterol is a lipid because it is also a steroid but is mainly synthesized for your liver.Steroids are important for our bodies because it is a substance that is crucially important if you would like your body function properly.That’s why steroids and cholesterol are important for your body.

A steroid is a certain type of an organic compound that contains four different rings that are arranged in a specific configuration.Cholesterol is a sterol type compound that is found in almost all of your body tissues including your nerves and your blood.A large amount of cholesterol in your body could be dangerous because it makes your heart unhealthy.A large amount of steroids in your body could be dangerous because it also abuses the health of your heart and your other organs inside of your body.Those are a few examples of how large amounts of cholesterol and steroids could be dangerous for your body.
