Space exploration is worth the cost because it expands our knowledge and helps us see more of the unknown. I say that because studying health conditions effects and improves our knowledge. NASA will also have to discover new planets because eventually the human race will have to move out to that new planet for more resources. In Vernikos’ essay she says “Our ability to explore and sustain human …show more content…
That is not true because robots cannot experience space like humans can and they cannot study the medicine either. Former astronaut Thomas Jones said that “Only a human can experience what being in space feels like.” Another reason is that robots have no feelings, therefore no need for survival. They also have no value, so you cannot get any money off of them. That means that they are useless, they cannot help NASA progress in anything important.
In Conclusion, I assuredly think that space exploration at extreme conditions is worth the cost. There are risks I agree to that, but we as humans have to continue ahead so we can fulfil our desirement in exploring space and more of the unknown. NASA cannot just send out robots to do our job for us because it will not work. If NASA succeds in human space exploration then they will get to expand our knowledge of space. Also it would not be that much money compared to other programs, it is not a drain in the United States economy. That is why I hope that others will stand with me when I say that space exploration at extreme conditions is defintly worth the
