Why Is Sleep Deprivation So Important In Later School

Later School Start Times School has a lasting impression on everyone. That impression can last for life and remind people of good and bad memories. Within the bad memories would be waking up between 5-6:30 time frame without being able to focus or think properly. The early start times combined with the teen sleep cycle causes sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation combined with homework, activities, and possible daily problems and imbalances in hormones can cause depression. According to the National Sleep Foundation most teens face sleep deprivation which can cause depression, anxiety, and mood changes which are not helpful for a normal functioning teenager.
