Why Is Sally Ride Important To Women

Look around you. Whether you realize it or not, there are women who are inspirations all around you. Many of these women fist had stepping stones of small success, that lead to their big future .
Sally Ride is a huge inspiration to women all over the world because of small successes. Sally Ride was the first american women to go into space in 1983. This made women and girls see that nothing is impossible. Sally Ride was in space for 14 days, 7 hours, and 46 minutes. Being in space for only that long, and becoming one of the biggest inspirations to women all over the world, is a huge acolmlplisment. If Sally didn't take the opportunity, it might have been a totally different story. Sally ride could have not been accepted as there were 6 women
