Rome is more civilized than Greece because Rome expanded from many ideas greece had and has been a big influence on the world today. To begin with, Rome had a better understanding of philosophy. They took ideas from Greece and improved them and made them better and incorporated them into their everyday life. For example, Cicero, who was considered on of the greatest philosophers of the ancient era, said that christianity was not responsible for destruction of Rome. Many people were influenced and thought that it was the christians fault. But because of Cicero people were forced to be more open minded and think of it a different way. Another reason the Romans were more civilized was because they had a sewage system called, the roman aqueduct.
