Why Is Robin Hood Bad

Have you ever heard of Robin Hood? I think most people have. At first I thought it was the cartoon Robin Hood. I always watched Robin Hood when I was growing up and he was one of my favorite cartoon characters. When I first started researching I found out he was a real person in history.

I was excited to learn about the real guy. I think Robin Hood is interesting because he is really helpful to the poor. He did some wrong things for the right reasons. Robin hood was born in the royal forest of Sherwood, Nottinghamshire England , also known as Loxley. It was in the time of Henry II and about the year 1160. It was Little John who gave Robin Hood and his men the name Merry Men. Robin Hood and his Merry Men always wear Lincoln Green clothing . Robin Hood was a heroic outlaw in England. He was very skilled with his bow and arrow and a great swordsman.

Robin Hood made his bow out of Yew tree. The reason Robin Hood was so famous because he was a hero to the poor and unfortunate who couldn’t help themselves. Robin Hood's life accomplishment was when he stole the loot from the rich and gave it to the poor. Robin Hood's biggest obstacle was to not get caught when he stole for the rich and gave the loot to the poor. Robin Hood became more popular as he became a character in stories, cartoons and movies, and this was because he is a legend.

When Robin Hood robbed the rich for the poor he was assisted by a group of outlaws and his Merry Men. Before Robin Hood lived in Sherwood Forest he would go there to hunt for wild animals.
