Internet was introduced at school and children became dependent on it for their studies. As a result, this dependency was brought home and increased within the years and parents followed. Over the years, not only did students grew a dependency towards technology, but their parents and grandparents followed. This technology was brought to the home and completely changed the contemporary family structure. With that being said, many people who stayed behind in the digital gap feel that their family members have become very different from them in their values, and traditions.
