Poverty around the globe is at an all time high. Especially in the United States, many families battle poverty. You might ask the question: “Why can’t we end poverty in America?” or “Why is poverty so prominent in the United States?” and a lot of it is because many american families are in a rut financially and motivationally. People everywhere, single parents of large families and homeless people everywhere struggle with poverty because of their lack of funds to support their families.
After all, the reason the percentage of americans struggling with poverty is at an alarming 15% of americans. That's a whopping 45 million americans that struggle to put food on the table for their families. A big reason that many families are experiencing poverty is because many of those families are headed by single parents who are responsible for multiple children. In my personal opinion I think that poverty can be stopped singlehandedly by contributing many resources to stop the decline of the economy.

Moreover, 5.05 billion people (more than 80 percent of the world's population) live on less than $10 a
