Why Is Nuclear Power Better Than Coal

Nuclear power is a better benefit to atmosphere and the world itself than coal. Nuclear power releases less greenhouse gases than coal making it environmentally friendly. For this reason we are better off choosing nuclear power rather than coal. Coal power plants are one of the biggest contributors to global warming. On the other hand nuclear power plants release little to no harmful gasses into the atmosphere. Nuclear power plants release no carbon dioxide into the air unlike coal which does. It has been discovered that since the start of use of nuclear energy as a source of power the amount of greenhouse gasses such as methane and carbon have decreased by almost half. This shows how nuclear power benefits the atmosphere. Nuclear energy only
